Gymnastic Seminar with Ja Myburh from #TheProgrm

The workshop will cover:

• Hand balancing, handstand walking, HSPU
• Pull up variations (kipping, butterfly, C2B), BMU, RMU, TTB
• The importance of midline strength, correct position in the different gymnastics movements and kipping techniques for bar and ring elements
• The principle of building skill and strength and transferring it to the CrossFit world
• The missing elements of gymnastics in CrossFit and how to properly develop straight arm strength
• How to develop long lasting mobility and not just a quick fix that doesn't work
• Some manipulation techniques in order to increase cycle times of different elements

The workshop is for the advanced athlete and the beginner. It’s structured it in such a way that everyone will benefit and be equipped with drills to address their weaknesses during the workshop and afterwards.
The schedule will be quite straight forward starting on Saturday at 10 a.m. going through to 5 p.m. Sunday will be the same. We will have a small break for lunch in the middle.

JA Myburgh, I am a Gymnastics coach for movement and CrossFit athletes. 
I am the gymnastics coach and gymnastics programmer for The Progrm. 
I come from a 16 year Gymnastics background of which 10 years was competitive in international competitions. 
I'm a practicing sports physiotherapist and owner of CrossFit Debrecen. 
My aim is to educate coaches and athlete on how to move more complex and efficient.
